Dongmin Kim completed an M.A. in Korean Second Language Pedagogy from Korea University and holds a Ph.D. in Korean linguistics from the University of Hawai¡®i at Manoa. He is a Certified OPI Tester from ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages). Before coming to NYU in 2015, he taught at Middlebury College and the University of Hawai¡®i at Manoa.(dk110@nyu.edu)

Jiayi Xu is a Clinical Associate Professor at NYU. She has been teaching Chinese language courses at all levels for over ten years. She completed an M.A. in Bilingual/Bicultural Education at the Teachers College, Columbia University. To better teach the language to students of Korean and Japanese background and understand the connections among the three Asian languages, she also devoted herself to studying Korean and Japanese during her time at NYU.(jx6@nyu.edu)

Kayo Nonaka is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Japanese Language coordinator at NYU. She received her Master¡¯s degree in Bilingual Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Before coming to NYU in 2003, she taught at Brown University, the University of California at Berkeley, Connecticut College, and UMass. Her publication includes ¡°Essential Japanese¡±, ¡°Japanese Guaranteed¡±, and ¡°Elementary Japanese.¡±(kn18@nyu.edu)
